I’m currently on the Design + Research team at AWS Fintech designing web experiences for internal Finance users. I’m the lead/sole designer on 2 products in the analytics and automation space, where I own the full-cycle design process from strategic roadmap planning, to user research, to designs and feature requests, to stakeholder management, and more. Before Amazon, I worked at ServiceNow, Zendesk, and the UCSD Design Lab, all in the conversational web interfaces space.
I hold double degrees in Cognitive Science and Design from the University of California, Davis. UX incorporates all of my interests—understanding people, empathizing with others, questioning ‘why’, creatively problem-solving, creating, and iteratively improving—into a cohesive focus.

Early and constant communication with cross-functional partners is necessary to gain a holistic understanding of the product.
Tap into resources to aid the design process: cognitive psychology principles, customer engagement metrics, success measurements, etc.
There’s something to learn from everything, and growth will never stop so long as I hold this intrinsic desire to learn.
It’s only in the face of adversity and change where I’m able to assess and strengthen myself to grow as a person.
